Fashion: 5 Celebrity Styles with Ministry of Retail

June 16, 2014 by Regina Chow No Comments
Aside from catchy ditties like I Got a Boy and Sorry Sorry, swoon-worthy
dramas like Secret Garden and Boys Over Flowers, and of course, mouth-watering
food like dukbokki and bulgogi, there is one more thing to love about South
Korea: fashion!
The folks at Ministry of Retail, a homegrown women’s fashion label, have hopped on the K-fashion
bandwagon too, launching their label online in 2009. Husband and wife Vincent
Goh and Yvonne Tan’s labour of love has paid off, as the label’s success has
skyrocketed since its establishment.

Fancy dressing like your favourite K-pop star? Take your pick from Ministry of
Retail after studying these celebrities’ style!

1. Electric blue blazers
Girls Generation’s Tiffany is totally working that blue blazer, pairing
it with lemon-yellow peep-toe heels, black shorts and a black handbag. I love
the asymmetrical hem of her t-shirt, as well as the black lining of her blazer.
Those little details really make her outfit come together. Plus, her eye-smile
completes the come-hither but polished look.
Likewise, Tiffany’s group-mate Jessica also experimented with electric
blue, except that this time, she chose a longer coat instead. The long coat,
paired with brown heels and a printed dress, made for a more laidback look than
that of Tiffany’s.
As exemplified by Tiffany, electric blue is perfect with black. And this
blazer from MOF is both chic and sporty, thanks to the loose silhouette.
2. Overall shorts

Remember Girls Generation’s breakout song, Gee? They were already
sporting overall shorts then, except theirs came in candy colours like hot
pink, lime green and yellow.
For a less kiddy version, opt for silver metallic overall shorts for an
effortlessly chic look. Pair it with a white t-shirt (not another shimmery
number, please!) and you are all set to hit the clubs.
3. Houndstooth prints
The members of girl group Miss A look absolutely darling in their
ladylike houndstooth get-ups.
I’m a little obsessed with the cropped top trend that’s making its way
back now. And what better way to add a ladylike touch to the California-girl
style than with houndstooth prints?
4. Pastels
The girls of Girls Generation look like a dream in their cotton candy
hues.
What’s even better than a pastel yellow dress? A pastel yellow dress
with a Peter Pan collar! The preppy chic style is right up my alley, and
especially more so when classic pieces like these come in candy colours that
are so appropriate for spring and summer. I’m in love!
5. White and sheer

Yes, it is possible to wear white and sheer pieces
without revealing your undergarments. See how Yoo In Na, the leading lady of
drama series Queen In-hyun’s Man, did it with a simple flared dress? Keep
accessories to a minimum and let the understated simplicity of the outfit do
the talking.
There’s nothing quite as elegant and classic as a white collared top.
But to shake things up a little, go sheer! This top from MOF goes well with
black capris a la Audrey Hepburn if you want to take on the monochromatic
trend. The sheer panels and embroidered details add a current update to the
regular button-up.
Now, which is your favourite trend? I’ll love to hear from you!

May 12, 2014 by Regina Chow No Comments

www.tokyoluxey.com
I was introduced to Tokyo Luxey earlier this year during a briefing session for bloggers conducted by CEO of Rouge Asia, Ms Chie Maeda and it really opened my eyes to the world of Japanese beauty products.
Established Japanese beauty brands such as Kose, Shiseido, SKII and the likes certainly need no introduction. However, beyond these globally renowned brand names lie a myriad of quality beauty and lifestyle brands that have made waves in the Japanese domestic market but are lesser known to the rest of the world.

With Tokyo Luxey, you will now be among the first outside of Japan to get your hands on these up and coming brands. All you have to do is sign up to be a Luxey!

Your role after being accepted as a Luxey

  • Try beauty and lifestyle goods supplied by TOKYO LUXEY and publish reviews of the products on your blog and via social media channels

  • Publish beauty and lifestyle-related content and information supplied by TOKYO LUXEY on your blog and via social media

    • Share and introduce the content from your blog and social media accounts to the TOKYO LUXEY site’s timeline

    • Introduce TOKYO LUXEY to friends who you feel would be appropriate for our community

What you get as a LUXEY

    • Receive exclusive & new Japanese beauty and lifestyle-related information and content from TOKYO LUXEY

    • Sample exclusive beauty and lifestyle products from Japan

    • Participate in the joint development of Japanese beauty and lifestyle-related goods via TOKYO LUXEY sponsored programs

    • Receive special pricing reserved only for TOKYO LUXEY members on products that you sampled

    • Become eligible to participate in TOKYO LUXEY’s affiliate program (details will be sent separately)

    • Become eligible to participate in exclusive experiences sponsored by TOKYO LUXEY (e.g. a makeup session with a famous Japanese makeup artist)

    • Special invitations to Japan will be offered to individuals who are recognized for remarkable involvement or results as a LUXEY

For a start, here are some products that I received and would recommend to everyone. I have tried every single one of them myself and am currently still using some of these products in my daily routine. If you would like to know how you can get hold of these products, do read on for more details at the end of this post.

    1) Make It & Co Skincare Set

Make It & Co is an Japanese organic skincare brand that is manufactured in England. The set that I received included a washing oil, day moisturizer, night moisturizer and a hand cream. I have to admit that I was initially a little hesitant to try these products because organic skincare is known to cause breakouts in the initial phase, but thankfully, I eventually bit the bullet and used them for a period of about 3 weeks. Instead of a breakout, all I got was beautifully smooth, hydrated skin.
The star product of this series, in my opinion, is the Aroma Washing Oil. Organic soy oil, which forms the base, is combined with lavender, tea tree and citrus essential oils to gently cleanse your face and body. I used this as my facial wash for both day and night for the entire duration, and it is amazing how clean and hydrated my skin felt after each wash. There was no oily after feel at all. My skin felt soft, moisturized and thoroughly cleansed.

    2) Evangelist BB Cream

The Evangelist BB cream is an award winning “3D” BB cream that packs a punch. It is the No.1 BB cream for 2 consecutive years on leading Japanese beauty and cosmetics website, Cosme, with 2,000 – 3,000 bottles being sold every month.
Not only does it come with good coverage and sunscreen (SPF 31 PA++), it also includes skincare ingredients such as placenta and EGF to ensure that your skin is well taken care of.
What I like about this product is how incredibly lightweight it feels on your skin. I was told during the briefing that it is so light that you will even forget that you are wearing it, and I can now attest that this claim is absolutely true. Since this is an all-in-one product, you can also skip sunblock and foundation by applying this after your daily skincare routine. This is one item that I would definitely repurchase.

    3) Evangelist Skin Care Powder

The Skin Care Powder is another star product under the Evangelist umbrella. The first loose powder to incorporate placenta, EGF and sodium hyalauronate into its formula, it promises to impart a glow to your skin, accompanied by a velvety soft finish.
I like the powder puff that comes along with this product as it picks up just the right amount of powder and feels so luxuriously soft on your skin. As the powder is slightly glittery, it is splendid for dinner dates and special occasions as well.

    4) Kiraan! Metal Magic Liner

Kiraan! is a collaboration between twin celebrity models Amiaya, renowned Japanese cosmetics distributor Ohyama and Japanese retailer Plaza Japan. The Metal Magic Liner was the first product to be released under this brand and has been widely marketed in Japanese magazines such as Vivi, mina, Popteen and JJ, among others. There is a total of 5 different shades.
I received this glitter eyeliner in Pink Bird, a sweet candy pink shade that brightens up the eyes instantly. I typically use this at the inner corner of my eyes with neutral eyeshadow colours on weekends when I can afford to experiment with more colour.

    *****

    Talika Light Duo+

May 7, 2014 by Regina Chow No Comments
I first chanced upon Talika Lipocils Eyelash Treatment Gel in my early 20s and it was and still is one of the best eyelash treatment gels that I have tried. My wonderful experience with Talika left me with a glowing impression of the brand till today. I wanted to learn more about the brand’s latest innovations and was excited to be a part of the Talika Light Duo+ product launch at Forlino.

Talika Light Duo+ is a revolutionary anti-aging beauty device that includes 3 different light wavelengths to target different skin issues, including dark spots, wrinkles and redness. With this powerful anti-aging multi-program light device, you can now say goodbye to the signs of aging in the comfort of your home.

I especially like the device’s smooth, sleek design. The buttons on the side blend in seamlessly and the handy size makes it a breeze to carry around when you travel overseas.
The device is also fitted with a timer and is activated automatically upon contact with the skin.

Now, I’ll share more about the three different functions. The device comprises 3 coloured lights, namely green, orange and red. Each colour has a different wavelength and is able to address different skin issues by regulating our epidermal and dermal cells.
The green light you see here specifically targets dark spots by regulating melanin production in 2 minutes per day. It has a wavelength of 525nm and is able to penetrate the epidermis layer, also known as the outer layer of your skin. In fact, results have shown that it is able to decrease the appearance of dark spots by 46% in 60 days! I am particularly interested in trying this function because I have very stubborn pigmentation on my upper cheeks.

The orange light on the other hand has a wavelength of 590nm and is able to penetrate the middle dermis to effectively combat wrinkles by reactivating collagen and elastin synthesis.

Finally, the red light has a wavelength of 630nm and is able to eliminate redness and soothe the skin.

Talika Light Duo+ also incorporates gentle vibrations during treatment to boost local microcirculation to improve intercellular communication. I tried the device on my hand and was pleasantly surprised that I hardly felt any discomfort. You can also use this with facial serums to boost the penetration rate and ensure that your skin reaps all the goodness of the ingredients.
All in all, Talika Light Duo+ promises radiant, glowing, younger-looking skin at the touch of your fingertips.
If you are interested in purchasing Talika Light Duo+, it retails for S$575 at all Talika counters at Metro.
Thanks to lovely Mag once again for inviting Karen and I to the event!

For more information on Talika, do visit their website and facebook page.

Fashion Fridays: Meeting Sophia Webster in Singapore

May 2, 2014 by Regina Chow 2 Comments
I attended the launch of Sophia Webster’s “Supa Dupa Fly” Spring Summer 2014 collection at On Pedder recently, where I got the opportunity to meet the designer herself. I have been eyeing Sophia Webster’s covetable designs ever since she launched her first collection, so you can only imagine how excited I was to finally meet her in person!

    She
is such a warm, friendly and affable lady. Despite being five months
pregnant at the time of her visit, she was a picture of radiance in her
    playful monochromatic ensemble.

Pardon my goofy smile here. We were laughing about how difficult it was to find a suitable spot for her autograph because of the limited space on the soles. And if you were wondering, yes, that pair of gorgeous butterfly-inspired gladiator heels are now mine.

You would probably have seen a close-up shot of my beautiful Electra heels if you follow me on my instagram account (@reginachow_sg).

I put them on the very next day for a day out with my hubby and it was such a breeze to walk in. The heels may appear reed thin, but they are by far one of the most stable and comfortable pair of heels that I have in my wardrobe.

    The “Supa Dupa Fly” collection
is inspired by insects such as butterflies and beetles, and it is amazing how Sophia Webster transforms something as unexpected as
butterfly wings or beetle wings into delectable statement heels that are
    instant conversation starters.

In fact, every pair of Sophia Webster shoes creates a fashion statement and takes you to a fairytale world, where everything is sweet, pretty and nice. Think fluttering butterflies, candy floss colors and polka dots. If you love shoes that embrace femininity with a touch of quirkiness, you’ll fall head over heels in love with Sophia Webster.

    The whimsical style of Sophia
Webster’s’ first collection in SS2013 immediately captured the hearts of many
and won her the British Fashion Awards for Emerging Accessories
Designer. The former design assistant to Nicholas Kirkwood may be a new kid on the block, but she has already garnered an impressive celebrity following, from the likes of Rihanna, Angelababy, Sarah Jessica Parker and Chloe Moretz.

Here are some of my favourites from the “Supa Dupa Fly” collection:

    The future certainly looks
bright for Sophia Webster. She is always full of surprises and I
honestly can’t wait to see what is up her sleeve next!

    Rocco is back!

April 26, 2014 by Regina Chow No Comments
Rocco is a legendary eyewear brand that sold 4 million frames between the 1960s-1990s. It vanished from the market for many years thereafter, but it is now back to wow fans with its signature vintage-inspired designs.
What happened to Rocco during its lost years? Where did it go?
If you follow me on my instagram account (@reginachow_sg), you would have seen this throwback photo of me paragliding while I was holidaying in New Zealand in 2012. Could Rocco have been there too?

It was said that Rocco hit the road, travelling far and wide to make new friends. One day, it dawned on Rocco that all this travelling seemed transient, lonely and superficial. That was when Rocco returned home to be picked up by people who adore its design, people like us!

I can totally relate to Rocco’s feelings about travelling. Travelling opens our eyes to fresh new perspectives and broadens our horizons, but there will always come a time when we yearn to return home simply because that’s where we truly belong, with our loved ones. While I love travelling and am often a victim of wanderlust, home is still where my heart is.
Anyhow, Rocco certainly chose the right time to be back. The recent mass flowering in Singapore has transformed the little red dot into a magnificent garden city. Rocco must have been lulled by these breathtakingly beautiful bougainvillea shrubs in my roof garden which resemble Japanese cherry blossoms. What a magnificent sight to behold!

I particularly love the preppy chic vintage vibe that Rocco’s designs exude. This pair of stylish purple frames that I chose is remarkably versatile and would be the perfect accessory to complement both corporate wear and feminine vintage dresses during the weekend.

Rocco is currently distributed by Eye-Trendy, Sin Kwang Group, a reputable distributor of leading international eyewear brands. It has a presence in Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia.

    OSIM uDiva Launch

April 15, 2014 by Regina Chow No Comments
I attended the launch of OSIM’s uDiva, where their latest celebrity endorser was unveiled. If you follow me on instagram (reginachow_sg), you probably would find this photo familiar because I shared contest details on how you could win yourself a uSnooz wrap worth S$68 simply by guessing who this celebrity was.
I will reveal who this mystery man is at the end of the post, but for now, let’s focus on the uDiva sofa first, shall we?
The uDiva sofa is the world’s first triple enjoyment sofa. It functions as a sofa and doubles up as a lounger and massage chair too. As its name suggests, the uDiva also reflects a diva’s goddess-like appearance, fashionable and stylish traits as well as unique personality.
This is probably one of the most beautiful and well-designed massage chairs that I have ever set my eyes on. Unlike its more conventional counterparts which tend to look a little out of place in your home, the uDiva blends in perfectly with the rest of your furniture and interior decor. You’ll never have to worry about your uDiva sticking out like a sore thumb.

Did you know that uDiva comes in 5 gorgeous colours too? Finding the perfect shade to complement your home decor and decorating style is now a piece of cake.
The lovely people at OSIM also developed some background mockups to give you some home decorating inspirations and to show you how versatile this massage chair really is.
Gorgeous Pink is a soft muted pink that would go well with a minimalist theme where neutral hues take centrestage. This feminine colour is my personal favourite. As this colour complements pastel shades as well, those of you who are mummies could also place the Gorgeous Pink uDiva in the baby’s room so you can kick back and relax while keeping an eye on the baby.

Enchanting Blue is an elegant shade of dark blue that adds contrast to a monochromatic palette and lends a touch of sophistication to your living area or bedroom, providing a wonderful setting for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Luscious Maroon, a dramatic shade of dark red, is the perfect accent colour to jazz up your mood and add a touch of vibrancy to your home.

Last but not least, here’s Elegant Beige and Stunning Black, classic colours that will never go out of style.
    I really like the
slim and compact design of the OSIM uDiva as most massage chairs tend
to be very bulky. If you are looking for an aesthetically pleasing
massage chair, the uDiva certainly fits the bill.

Over here, you’ll also see the Elegant Black uDiva in its massage mode.
I love massages! Not only are they pampering, they also help to relieve stress in our daily lives and promote mental relaxation, thereby enhancing our overall well-being.
If you like massages too, you’ll be happy to know that the uDiva sofa incorporates 3D Power-Ball technology featuring Dynamic 3D massage and has 6 massage modes to cater to your needs:
    1) Neck & Shoulder – Relieve
This feels just like a head massage that you would get during a hair wash at a salon. It also uses Feng Chi acupressure point massage to relieve headaches and stiff necks and shoulders.
    2) Spa – Treat
A favourite among ladies, the spa mode feels absolutely pampering. Besides relieving stress, this mode also boosts cell regeneration and promotes blood circulation.
    3) Happy Hour – Mental Relaxation
As its name suggests, this mode was specially created for PMEBs as many of us who hold desk bound jobs suffer from stiff necks, shoulders and sore back muscles. The Happy Hour mode improves blood circulation in your legs, relaxes your shoulders and neck muscles, and uses lower back tapping techniques to relieve the soreness on your back, helping you to achieve mental relaxation after a long day’s work.
    4)  Lumbar
This is a strong massage to loosen and relieve lower back tension.
    5) Stretch
If one of your goals is to improve flexibility, you can count on the Stretch mode to loosen your muscles and deliver results.
    6) Sleep
Wind down after a long day and turn on the sleep mode to relax your body and mind for a good night’s sleep!

    Besides a preview
of these gorgeous uDiva sofas, we also indulged in an evening of pampering hand massages and gelish manicures at the manicure and hand massage station. I thoroughly enjoyed the hand massage which almost left me drifting off to slumberland while Karen had a soak-off and a fresh gelish manicure done in OSIM uDiva’s Gorgeous Pink hue.
We were also treated to colourful
cocktail concoctions inspired by the 5 different uDiva colours, courtesy of Mixes from Mars.
Established in early 2013, Mixes from Mars is a pioneer in the bespoke portable bar industry that offers a unique customization concept where every drink can be personalized to your palate, mood and preference. If you are interested in trying out these drinks, you may want to check out their pop-up bar called Mars Bar at 83 Duxton Road (Duxton Hotel).
I personally loved the Elegant Beige cocktail, as it gave a light, refreshing (and alcoholic) twist to flavours found in apple pies. The distinctive taste and unique flavour won me over.

For more information on Mixes on Mars, you can visit their website and social media platforms below:

    #MarsBarSg

And now, after keeping you in suspense the whole time, here’s presenting the new OSIM uDiva celebrity endorser, popular Korean actor Lee Min-ho!
My friends and colleagues were so excited when they saw his standee and many of them could guess who he was immediately.

    Want to win an
OSIM uSlender Slim belt massager worth $268?

Simply snap a picture with Lee Min Ho at all
OSIM outlets/roadshows, upload it on Instagram and tag both #uDiva and #OSIMSG
and tell OSIM what’s your favourite massage program. 1 lucky winner will win an
OSIM uSlender Slim belt massager every week from 11th Apr till 31st May. (A
total of 7 sets to be won.)

Do like the OSIMSG Facebook page as well to be updated as

    5 Fun Facts About Sephora

April 14, 2014 by Regina Chow No Comments

I may not be a huge beauty junkie, but even I can’t resist entering a Sephora store whenever I pass it by. A haven for makeup lovers, its bright yet cozy shopfront looks so inviting, it beckons to passersby and lingers in the minds of beauty aficionados. Indeed, it is a fantastic one-stop
destination for all our grooming and beauty needs.

Founded in 1970 by Dominique Mandonnaud, the French beauty giant Sephora
started out as a perfumery, and has since expanded its line into a more
comprehensive one to include tools and products for HTT (that’s head-to-toe in
Tyra Banks speak) gorgeousness. The brand continues to be based in Paris,
though it has gone majorly international, with more than 1,700 stores in 27
    countries worldwide, including Singapore.

Now, here are 5 more fun facts about (practically) every girl’s favourite
    beauty store!

    1. The name Sephora was derived from the Greek word for beauty, sephos.
Combine that with the name Zipporah, the incredibly beautiful wife of Moses in
the book of Exodus, and you get Sephora.

    2. Sephora is touted as “the beauty authority”, as it aims to
provide the most comprehensive range of products and service to its
    customers.

Its “Science of Sephora” programme focuses on producing the
most knowledgeable and professional team of consultants in the beauty industry,
by making sure the team understands everything beauty-related, from the history
of makeup to application techniques, identifying skin types to skin physiology,
and the science of creating a fragrance. Phew! That was a mouthful. One thing’s for sure though, Sephora does not take shortcuts!
    3. Number crunching time! Sephora carries more than 17,000 products,
employs 25,000 employees (4,000 of whom work in the approximately 300 stores in
France), and receives about 6 million visitors yearly at its
Champs-Elysees flagship store. Wow, that’s more than the number of people who
    visit the Eiffel Tower annually!
    4. In 2013, Sephora collaborated with the Olsen twins to develop a
fragrance line, and with designer Marc Jacobs to create a makeup line.

Nirvana, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s first fragrance, has been
available at Sephora since December last year.

The collaboration with Marc Jacobs hit all Sephora stores in the
fall of 2013. This collection showcases products that enhance the three features
that the flamboyant designer pays most attention to: groomed brows, kissable
    lips and bright eyes.
Marc Jacobs looking immaculate, as always

    5. Since its establishment, Sephora has grown into a multi-label
chain store that offers a wide range of products from international labels as
well as its own private label. It carries trusted favourites like Bobbi Brown,
Clinique, Urban Decay, Marc Jacobs, and Asian brands like Kose and Laneige.
If you think it’s hard to extricate yourself once you start shopping at Sephora, believe me, you are not alone. Nonetheless, we all deserve to indulge in a little pampering every once in a while. After all, it’s all in the name of personal grooming!

Fashion: Summer Outfit Inspiration with Primary Colours

April 12, 2014 by Regina Chow No Comments
Pastel shades are my favourite colours, but primary colours (think red, blue, yellow) would definitely come in a close second if this was a competition. Bold, eye-catching and absolutely summery, primary colours ensure that you stand out from the crowd. These lovely hues are perfect for summer and would easily brighten up your day.
There are so many ways to wear these colours. Colour blocking with a basic top, bottom and jacket would perhaps be the most effortless way to style primary colours. If you are feeling edgy, go for loud prints and a pair of fierce looking heels in primary colours. Alternatively,  mix it up a little and incorporate some secondary colours too!

In this outfit post, what you’ll see is a mish mesh of colours, including secondary colours like orange and pink.  I know, one of the rules in fashion is to stick to just 3 colours, but sometimes, rules are meant to be broken and I couldn’t resist these beautiful kaleidoscope of colours (not to mention those pop-up 3D flowers on my blouse that resemble sakuras!).
To a large extent, the white base was the key to pulling the look together by creating a sense of balance.

If you follow me on instagram (@reginachow_sg), you would probably have gotten a preview of my new pair of electric blue shoes from Zara.

I personally think that blue is the new black as it jazzes up an ensemble instantly and is versatile enough to be paired with both monochromatic tones and bright, bold hues.
If you were wondering, I bought this top and skirt set from a random shop near my office. I look like I’m wearing a dress when I wear the full set, and what I love most about sets like these is the flexibility of mixing and matching the pieces separately. You get a lot of mileage as you can easily create different looks. The possibilities are endless!

Vanity Trove: Get, Snap, Blingo! Project Launch Party

April 11, 2014 by Regina Chow No Comments

I had the pleasure of attending Vanity Trove’s Get, Snap, Blingo! Project Launch Party at Zouk recently, where Vanity Trove launched their first mobile app. Now, you can connect with beauty influencers and friends and share your beauty and fashion inspirations on the go!

Thankfully, I didn’t have work meetings in the day and could opt for a more casual, flutter-sleeve lace dress to fit the modern hippie chic theme that night. To complete the look, I threw on a flower head wreath upon arrival.

    It was amazing to
witness Zouk’s transformation into a beauty playground, with
hairstyling booths, nail booths and make-up counters to fulfill all your
beauty needs. It was a lady’s night to remember.

These are the partners that Vanity Trove tied up with to make this event possible:
     Reebonz
    Quincy by Far East Hospitality
    Kwerkee
    Nikon
    Asia Travel
    Benefit Cosmetics
    Loreal Professional
    Skin Inc
    Brands Innershine
    Gavio

    iFly
Aside from beauty services and products, we were also treated to a sumptuous spread of eggless cakes by Emicakes and premium soy ice-cream by Soyato.
Thanks to Vanity Trove, everyone who attended the party also got to bring home a goodie bag brimming with beauty products (including some full-sized ones too!). If you are interested to find out what I received, I might do a review of these products separately if time permits.
The beauty box concept is probably no stranger to many of us as its popularity in recent years has led to the mushrooming of beauty boxes all over the world.

White Label Premium Placenta Elastic White Skin Essence

April 7, 2014 by Regina Chow No Comments

I have been told that my skin is
very dehydrated based on a skin analysis that I did recently, hence I
have been on the lookout for good serums to boost my hydration levels. Thanks to Beauty Direct, I had the opportunity to try out White Label Premium Placenta Elastic White Skin Essence,
which combines the properties of both essence and toner in one product.
As this works as a toner and essence, all you have to do is to apply it
using a cotton pad or directly onto your hands and then gently pat it
    into your skin. How convenient!

White Label Premium Placenta is a Japanese skincare range that uses 100% local placenta in its products to enhance the speed of skin renewal and to get to the root of skin problems such as freckles, dullness, wrinkles and dry skin.

    I have heard wonderful things
about the magical properties of placenta, which is the essence of the
organ that connects the fetus and the mother. Known to be rich in
anti-oxidants, proteins and amino acids, it packs a punch and is touted
to be the secret to having baby smooth skin.

The White Label Premium Placenta Essence has a lightweight texture and absorbs readily into your skin without leaving a sticky after feel. I especially love how my skin feels instantly plumped up and moisturized after use.

I have been using the essence all over my face to lock in moisture and protect my skin from dehydration before applying moisturizer. You can also use this on your neck where the signs of aging tend to be more prominent.

For those of you with sensitive skin, you will also be happy to know that this product is colourless, odourless and free of parabens, additives and mineral oil.
In comparison to skincare products that incorporate placenta as its key ingredient, the White Label Premium Placenta range is also incredibly affordable. In fact, the White Label Premium Placenta Elastic White Skin Essence retails at just S$14.90.
If you are interested in trying White Label Premium Placenta products, you can find the entire range at Beauty Direct, BHG, John Little, Guardian, Nishino Pharmacy and Plaza@Cosme100AM.
The next two products that I would like to get my hands on are the Elastic White Skin Pack and Dark Eye Circle Tool!
