Yuletide with Eternity Loft

December 17, 2011 by Regina Chow No Comments
Earlier this month, I had an enjoyable photo shoot with Eternity Loft, where I was greeted to a collection of delectable apparel in flattering styles and beautiful colours.
Here’s a sneak peek of the two designs that will be coming your way soon:

I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent workmanship and quality material of the apparel as they certainly surpass that of many blogshops. They are very affordable too, so there’s absolutely no need to break the bank to look presentable!

Now, let’s take a closer look at the dress, shall we?

This gorgeous dress is made of the softest chiffon. In fact, I was gushing at how soft and luxurious it felt against my skin! The dress also comes in 4 colours – black, blue, pink and lilac.

The beauty of the dress lies in its simplicity. Subtle details like the pleated front and capped sleeves add interest and femininity to the ensemble. It’s a wonderful wardrobe staple as you can easily dress it up for work and functions or dress it down for shopping and afternoon tea with girlfriends.

Next up, let’s take a look at this chic ruffled top. Words can’t express how much I adore this top, so I’ll let the pictures do the talking!

I love the ingenious juxtaposition of the sharp collar with soft, feminine ruffles. There are so many ways to wear this preppy chic top. Tuck it into your shorts for a casual day out or wear it with a flowy skirt for a date. πŸ˜‰

There’s a Christmas collection coming up next on Eternity Loft!

Get Ready for the Festive Season with ClubCouture!

December 4, 2011 by Regina Chow 2 Comments
Christmas is just around the corner and as we’re busy buying Christmas presents for our loved ones, we’ve gotta prepare to dress up for the parties coming our way this season too!
I’m thankful that ClubCouture is always here to save the day with its extensive collection of dresses for all occasions.

I generally prefer sweet, floral dresses for casual parties, and the floral printed chiffon dress is the perfect dress for me!

The best part is, it’s currently on sale at only S$15 here. What a steal!

For more formal occasions, such as parties or weddings, I prefer sophisticated outfits that add a touch of glamour without going over the top.

I especially love toga dresses like this draped one-shoulder dress. Don’t you think it is elegance personified? πŸ™‚

I paired the dress with a clutch from ClubCouture as well, but it’s already out of stock! If there’s anything you fancy, do be fast because ClubCouture’s items always run out very quickly.

Here’s another one of my favourite toga dresses from ClubCouture. It fits like a dream and the pleats add a unique twist to the pinkish beige bodice.

Again, this dress was snapped up instantly the moment it was launched. But, fret not! There’re other party dresses such as this one shoulder satin dress in purple.

Jewel tones are always great for the festive season, and this cut is fantastic for bringing out those curves without showing too much skin. πŸ˜‰

Oh and for all you lucky babes out there, ClubCouture is currently holding a sale on many items! Head on down to the sale section HERE!

Dolly Dearest

November 19, 2011 by Regina Chow No Comments
Dolls always have the prettiest and most adorable clothes, don’t you think? Dainty details like cute little bows, lace and candy colours always come to mind when I think of dolls. This outfit here was entirely inspired by dolls, hence the title, Dolly Dearest. πŸ™‚

Lace dress c/o Pearlavish
Bow Heels from Bugis Village
Socks and bag from Hong Kong
Have a great weekend babes! πŸ˜‰ I’m gonna have to finish up some work later today, so please wish me all the best!

Dress Affection

November 8, 2011 by Regina Chow 4 Comments
If you’ve always had an affection for quality, fashion-forward dresses, look no further with DressAffection!

DressAffection is an international online store that stocks cut-label designs (items with the blue ‘cut label’ tag means that the clothes label will be cut before it is sent out to customers) from Alexander McQueen, Karen Millen, Prada, D&G, Chanel, DVF, Miu Miu and Gucci, just to name a few.

It’s incredibly difficult to find well-cut formal dresses on the internet these days, but Dress Affection assures that it delivers quality designs hot off the runways. It is always on trend and in style!

I especially love their selection of work and cocktail dresses, such as the Prada Black Ruffle Dress here. The cascading chiffon pleats on this elegant shift dress add an interesting twist, thereby enhancing the femininity of the ensemble.

I styled this little black dress in a casual way for a day out with my friends but it is just as capable of taking you to work and then an evening function thereafter by tweaking some accessories. This is THE little black dress that every girl needs to take on the world. πŸ™‚

This lovely dress is currently sold out on the website, but you can always request for it to be restocked (depending on availability) by clicking on the “bring it back” button. πŸ˜‰

However, as DressAffection prides itself for bringing in exclusive designs in limited quantities, it’s best to buy what your heart fancies before they’re sold out!

For all you fashionistas out there, here’s a secret that I’m letting you in on. Dress Affection will be holding a deal at Deal.com.sg on Thursday 10 November (that’s tomorrow!). You’ll be entitled to 35% off a $50 shopping voucher.

Remember to visit Deal.com.sg tomorrow!

Dirty Linen

October 26, 2011 by Regina Chow 1 Comment
Before you jump to conclusions, no, I’m not about to talk about my dirty clothes here. I’m talking about a new online store in town by the name of Dirty Linen!
Dirty Linen is one of the few multi-brand websites in Singapore and all their apparel are exclusively self-manufactured.

I love their home brand, Dirty Linen, which carries casual, wearable pieces in a myriad of colours. They’re perfect for weekends, lunch dates with your girl pals or even for school!

I was totally bowled over by the cute rabbit prints on my Dirty Linen Short Sleeve Print Dress in Blue.

I paired the dress with a detachable pearl collar, liz lisa wedges and a pretty pink hair bow for present shopping at Miu Miu. πŸ˜‰
I also wore a petticoat underneath the dress as I wanted it to look a little more poufy but trust me, it looks great without it as well.

Besides casual wear, Dirty Linen also carries corporate wear through their Benediction label.

About Benediction
Drawing inspiration from elements of fashion eras past, local brand Benediction pays homage to the styles of yesterday and adapts it for the contemporary woman. Designs veer toward the classic and sleek with soft, flowy breathable fabrics and clean lines in muted neutrals and deep hues. Privately manufactured right here in Singapore and with a production cap at less than 5 pieces per size, you won’t find many wearing the same garment as you with this exclusive new label.

Here, I’m wearing the Benediction Asymmetric V Dress in White.

It’s a classic minimalist dress with an asymmetrical neckline for that added edginess without compromising on sophistication.

The modest length and well-tailored silhouette also ensure that you’ll always look professional for work. If you’ve an after-work function to attend, just throw on some accessories like what I did here, and you’re all set to go!

Most importantly, the Benediction label’s exclusivity is unrivaled as the store stocks less than 5 pieces per design, so rest assured you wouldn’t be caught dead in the same dress as someone else. πŸ˜‰

For all you lucky ladies out there, there’s a promo for apparel under the Benediction label now! Just key in the code BENEDICTION10 upon checkout to receive 10% off your purchase.

In addition, you’ll enjoy free shipping for all your purchases with the code FREESHIP.

For updates on the latest promotions and new arrivals, do join their mailing list on their home page here!

Dirty Linen will also be adding more brands to their store soon, so do keep a lookout for them!

Autumn/Winter Trends 2011

October 22, 2011 by Regina Chow No Comments
Just because our island is sunny all year round doesn’t mean that we can’t experiment with autumn/winter trends.
Valentino, Oscar de la renta and Christian Dior are some of my favourite designer labels as they have versatile and easy to wear fall/winter pieces that we can easily incorporate into our wardrobe without having to sweat buckets in our weather.

Likewise, ClubCouture‘s beautiful autumn/winter collection offers a wide variety of choices to ensure that you’re always at the forefront of fashion without having to break the bank. πŸ˜‰

1) Textures and Rosettes

One of the trends that I’ve spotted this season is the use of textures to create feminine looks. In particular, Valentino has a couple of dresses with gorgeous chiffon rosettes

When I spotted the rose tote bag from ClubCouture, I knew I had to get it. This is also one of my favourite items from ClubCouture to date.

I brought it with me to Hong Kong last week because it goes extremely well with my girly clothes and is practical enough for travelling.

It is so roomy I can stuff all my travel documents, make-up pouch, umbrella, sweater and shoes into it!

2) Lace

Classy, elegant and sophisticated, lace exudes femininity and sensuality like no other fabric.

Lace has always been a mainstay in Valentino’s collections, which is why I love their designs to bits.

Lace, especially black lace, is ubiquitous in ClubCouture’s line of apparel.

The pansy lace dress is one of my favourites, but it ran out of UK size 6 and I’m still waiting for restocks to arrive. Can’t wait!

Here’s another one of my favourites from ClubCouture. It’s a pastel lace and tulle dress that I wore for some street shopping in Hong Kong (together with my hair extensions πŸ˜‰ ).

I love the details, especially the flowy tulle skirt and floral lace, but unfortunately, the dress has already been sold out.

For those of you who love girly styles like this, there’s a similar one here.

Check out ClubCouture’s lookbook for more inspirations now!

Have a great weekend! πŸ™‚

Amelie Anne Sienna Jersey Dress

October 7, 2011 by Regina Chow 8 Comments
Looking effortlessly chic has never been easier with Amelie Anne’s Sienna Jersey Dress!

The beauty of the dress lies in its simplicity. The cut flatters just about any body shape and the material (cotton with satin lining) is so soft it caresses your skin.

Once again, I was very impressed with the quality of the workmanship and would definitely recommend every girl to have one of these jersey dresses in her wardrobe!

Remember I mentioned that versatility is always key in Amelie Anne’s The Label Love collection? To me, this Stella McCartney inspired dress is the epitome of versatility.

You can dress down by wearing it without the sash or glam it up with a simple necklace like I did. When the weather gets chilly (it’s so unpredictable nowadays, even in Singapore!), just throw on a cropped jacket to complete the look!

The best part is, the Sienna Jersey Dress also comes in a multitude of colours, including bold primary colours and subtle shades of grey and cream.

Can’t decide which colour to choose? LOL I can totally understand because I love them all!

You know it’s time to reward yourself after a long work week, so what better than to indulge in a little retail therapy at Amelie Anne!

Amelie Anne Soffieanne Cascading Dress

September 7, 2011 by Regina Chow 6 Comments

When the weather was less chilly last week, I threw on the Soffieanne Cascading Dress in Nude Cream, courtesy of Amelie Anne, for one of my rest days from hiking in Rodellar when I’ll wander around the picturesque town and chill out in quaint cafes with a glass of ice-cold coke (not beer) in the company of the scenic mountain view.

The Soffieanne Cascading Dress is such a breezy little number! This is another one of those dresses that will take you from work to play in the blink of an eye. Just slip on a pair of heels and you’re ready for work or put on those comfy flats (like I did!) for afternoon tea with your girlfriends.

The ruffle details at the side of the dress add a touch of femininity while its classic shift design makes it appropriate for formal functions. Again, versatility is always key when it comes to Amelie Anne‘s The Label Love collection.

This understated beauty comes in a wide array of colours, including Salmon Blush Pink, Peacock Blue and Midnight Blue. At Amelie Anne‘s, you’ll always be spoilt for choice! πŸ˜‰

Looking for retail therapy or some mid-week indulgence? Here’s Amelie-Anne to the rescue!

Happy shopping dearies! πŸ˜€

WIWT – Rodellar

September 5, 2011 by Regina Chow 5 Comments
Here’s a simple outfit I wore for shopping at Bershka in Huesca. πŸ˜‰ I’ve worn the skorts before but I like to pair staples like these with new tops for a completely different feel.

I received this dusky pink tank top with lace and ruffles from ClubCouture just before I left for my trip. The minute the wrapping came off, I knew I had to pack it into my luggage immediately.

Lace Ribbed Tank in Pink from ClubCouture

Lace skorts from Fa Yuen Street, Hong Kong

White Sequin Flats from Mitju

Ribbon rosette hair clip from Far East Plaza

It can get pretty chilly here at night as temperatures dip drastically, signaling the beginning of the fall season. I’ll usually throw on a jacket to keep warm, and as the temperatures drop further, I’ll add on socks/leggings or change into my jeans.

This cropped Bershka jacket is one of the buys I scored today. The skull print lining is so cute and edgy, I knew I had to get it the moment I laid my eyes on it.

Have a great week ahead everyone!

Amelie Anne Becky Color Block Dress

September 2, 2011 by Regina Chow 5 Comments

Amelie Anne knows that the colour blocking trend has taken this year’s runway by storm and it’s probably the simplest fashion trend to emulate. If you find the juxtaposition of primary colours too gaudy for your liking, fret not, for subtlety is possible with colour blocking too! The Becky Colour Block Dress in Persimmon Sky from Amelie Anne is a fine example of how colour blocking and subtle elegance can go hand in hand. This Jil Sander inspired dress is from Amelie Anne’s The Label Love collection and everything from this label is specially manufactured to ensure exclusivity.

I love the versatility of the Becky Colour Block Dress. There are so many different looks that you can achieve with this dress and its cutting makes it suitable for work too.

You can either wear it on its own for a clean, minimalist look or layer it with the sheer chiffon piece which comes together as a set and can be worn either over or under the dress. Here, I wore the chiffon piece under my dress.

It also doubles up as a top when you tuck it into your pencil skirt for work or into your shorts for a casual weekend lunch.;) I personally think it’s a great piece to take with you when you travel!

If sophistication and versatility are what you look out for when you shop, head on down to Amelie Anne now!
